I need a production-ready cab-hailing application built with Flutter so it runs smoothly on both iOS and Android from a single codebase. The mobile client will consume a fresh set of ASP.NET Core Web APIs that you create and host; the APIs should follow REST best practices, be fully documented, and stay modular so extra features can slip in later without rewrites.
For this first release the essentials are straightforward: riders must be able to request a ride, see available drivers, and once the trip ends, leave a rating and short review for the driver. No real-time map tracking or payment gateway is required right now, but keep the data models and endpoints flexible so we can introduce those options down the road.
Login should be quick and frictionless—users enter their phone number, receive a one-time password by SMS, and they’re in. I’m not interested in email/password or social logins at this stage.
Because I’ll be handing the project to an internal team after launch, clean code and clear comments matter as much as the feature set. Stable state management (Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc—whichever you prefer) and a well-structured ASP.NET Core solution are key.
Deliverables
• Flutter source code with build instructions for iOS & Android
• ASP.NET Core Web API project with README and brief Swagger docs
• SQL Server (or PostgreSQL) script for initial schema and seed data
• Simple driver and rider test accounts so I can demo the flow
• Short hand-off session or video walkthrough covering project setup and deployment
Acceptance criteria: builds successfully on both mobile platforms, OTP authentication functions end-to-end, rides can be requested and completed, rating/review posts to the database, and API endpoints return the expected JSON.
