I’m ready to build an Android-only cab-booking application in Flutter and need a developer who can turn my requirements into a smooth, production-ready experience.
Core features I must see in the first release are:
• User journey that starts with a quick sign-up / login flow (mandatory for every rider).
• Intuitive “Book a Ride” screen with pickup & drop search, fare estimate, ETA and a single confirmation tap.
• Live driver tracking so passengers watch the car approach in real-time on Google Maps.
• Secure, in-app payment that returns an immediate success or failure state once the trip ends.
Please keep the codebase clean, well-commented and structured so I can expand to iOS later. A lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase or something comparable) that stores user profiles, trip data and pushes driver location updates is fine—as long as it’s documented and deployable in a few clicks.
Deliverables
1. Complete Flutter source code and a release-ready APK.
2. Setup scripts / instructions for the backend and payment gateway test keys.
3. Brief README covering build steps, environment variables and how to publish the app on Google Play.
4. Up to two weeks of post-handover bug-fix support.
Acceptance criteria: every flow—sign-up, ride request, driver tracking, payment—must run crash-free on Android 12+, and driver GPS updates should appear within three seconds on a stable connection.
