Flutter Android App & Backend APIs

I’m starting a new Android-only mobile product and I want it built in Flutter from day one. Because no server-side logic exists yet, the first milestone will be to design and code an entirely new RESTful (or GraphQL, if you prefer) API layer. I’m comfortable with either PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Node.js (Express/Nest) as long as the endpoints are clean, secure, and documented.

Core requirements
• Flutter code that compiles and runs smoothly on Android devices
• Fresh APIs with robust data storage behind them (MySQL or PostgreSQL are fine)
• Clear documentation so future features can plug in without rewrites

Typical tasks you can expect after the first release range from adding new database entities and refining queries to implementing extra Flutter screens and hooking them to the API, so think of this as project-based but long-term.

Acceptance for each deliverable
– Flutter project pushed to Git with clear commit history
– API repository with test coverage and README covering environment setup, routes, and example requests
– SQL schema or migration files version-controlled alongside the backend
– Postman / Insomnia collection or Swagger/OpenAPI spec showing every endpoint
