I’m preparing to build a new residential home in Florida and I need a U.S.-based structural engineer who already holds Florida certification. Your role is to handle the full project design, taking the concept through permit-ready structural documents that meet the current Florida Building Code and wind-load requirements.

The house will use light-gauge steel studs instead of traditional wood framing, so recent experience with steel-stud wall, floor, and roof systems is essential. I’ll supply the architectural plans; you will develop the complete structural package, coordinate any required engineering calculations, and stamp the drawings for submission to my local building department.

Key deliverables:
• Signed and sealed structural drawings in PDF and CAD
• Structural calculations package demonstrating code compliance
• Brief responses to plan-check comments until we secure the permit

If you have a proven track record with Florida steel-stud homes and can turn around clear, buildable plans, let’s discuss timelines and milestones.
