SEO + Facebook API Team Needed – 19,000-Page Flea Market Website

We are looking for an experienced development, SEO and content team/agency to manage a large-scale local-search website project from start to finish.

The website will contain approximately 19,000 location/keyword-targeted pages covering flea markets, markets and related local events.

Main Objective

We need a team that can build and manage the entire system, including:

- Facebook API integration
- Live/recent flea-market and event data
- Automated data collection and updating
- Page creation
- SEO optimisation
- Google indexing
- Keyword targeting
- Internal linking
- Technical SEO
- Google Search Console
- Ranking monitoring
- Ongoing optimisation

The ultimate goal is to have the pages indexed and ranking in Google for their intended keywords.

Facebook API / Live Data

A major requirement is the ability to use the Facebook/Meta API where permitted to obtain relevant, current flea-market/event information.

The system should be designed to:

- Connect to the appropriate Meta/Facebook APIs
- Retrieve permitted event/page information
- Capture relevant event details
- Capture dates and times
- Capture locations
- Capture descriptions where permitted
- Capture event/page links where permitted
- Regularly check for changes
- Update website information when events change
- Avoid displaying outdated information
- Handle deleted, cancelled or changed events
- Store the relevant source/reference information

Important: The implementation must comply with Meta's API terms, permissions and rate limits. We are not looking for scraping that violates Facebook/Meta's policies.

If Facebook API access is unavailable for particular data, the team should propose a compliant alternative data source.

300 Pages Per Day

The system/team must be capable of creating approximately:

300 pages per day

The overall target is approximately:

19,000 pages

Pages will target specific local search terms and location combinations.

For example, pages may target searches such as:

- Flea markets in [Location]
- Flea markets near [Location]
- Markets in [Location]
- Flea markets this weekend in [Location]
- Flea markets on [Date] in [Location]

The exact keyword structure will be provided/discussed with the successful team.

Google SEO & Indexing

Creating pages alone is not enough.

The team must manage the process of making the pages SEO-optimised, discoverable, indexable and capable of ranking.

Responsibilities include:

- Keyword mapping
- Page titles
- Meta descriptions
- H1/H2 structure
- Unique useful content
- Internal linking
- Canonical URLs
- XML sitemaps
- Structured data/schema where appropriate
- Technical SEO
- Google Search Console
- Indexing monitoring
- Crawl/indexing issue resolution
- Ranking monitoring
- Content improvements
- Duplicate/thin-content checks

The objective is for the pages to rank for their intended keywords.

No provider can legitimately guarantee a particular Google ranking position, so we want a team with a genuine SEO strategy and demonstrable previous results.

Automation

We are particularly interested in a team capable of building an efficient automated workflow.

The ideal system would be able to:

Data source → API/data processing → database → page generation → SEO optimisation → publishing → sitemap → Google discovery/indexing → ranking monitoring → updates

The system should be scalable and capable of handling thousands of pages.

Reporting

We require regular reporting covering:

- Pages created
- Pages published
- Pages indexed
- Google impressions
- Google clicks
- Average ranking position
- Keywords ranking
- API/data updates
- Pages with missing/outdated data
- Technical issues
- SEO improvements undertaken

Budget

Maximum rate: $2 USD/hour

Maximum billing: 40 hours per week

Maximum weekly budget:

$80 USD/week

Please do not apply if you cannot work within this maximum.

We are particularly interested in small teams/agencies where multiple people can work on development, data and SEO while keeping the total weekly billing within the budget.

Skills Required

Strong experience in several of the following:

- Meta/Facebook Graph API
- API integration
- PHP / Python / JavaScript
- WordPress or similar CMS
- Database management
- Automation
- Programmatic SEO
- Local SEO
- Google Search Console
