I’m looking for a skilled, affordable developer for occasional website support. Currently, my immediate need is to fix the contact form on my WordPress site (whitestrawberry.co.uk). When visitors hit Submit, they see the error: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” No email reaches me.
The task includes:
• Identifying the plugin powering the form (e.g., Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, or theme-bundled variant).
• Diagnosing and fixing the root cause (SMTP, reCAPTCHA, misconfiguration, theme conflict, etc.).
• Setting up proper SMTP or API-based mailing if needed to ensure future messages land in my inbox.
• Testing thoroughly with at least one successful submission received.
This is a small job with a limited budget (£10-£20 GBP), so I prefer someone who can complete it efficiently and cost-effectively. If this goes well, I’d like to work with you for ongoing website support as needed.
