I am looking for an experienced web developer to troubleshoot and fix the sign-in and sign-up functionality, resolve related UI issues, and improve the overall user experience on SaaS Project.
The primary objective is to make the authentication process fully functional, reliable, user-friendly, and visually consistent with the rest of the website.
The developer will need to inspect the existing codebase, identify the root causes of the reported issues, implement appropriate fixes, and thoroughly test the changes without negatively affecting existing website functionality.
Scope of Work
1. Sign-In Functionality
Investigate and fix issues preventing users from signing in successfully.
Verify email and password authentication.
Ensure appropriate handling of invalid credentials and authentication failures.
Fix issues with form submission, button actions, and loading states.
Verify that users are redirected to the correct page after successful login.
Check session handling and ensure authenticated users remain signed in as expected.
Investigate and fix Google sign-in if it is affected or not functioning correctly.
2. Sign-Up and User Registration
Investigate and fix issues with new user registration.
Ensure users can complete the registration process successfully.
Validate required fields, email formats, and password requirements.
Display clear and helpful validation messages when information is missing or invalid.
Prevent duplicate submissions and handle existing accounts appropriately.
Verify that newly registered users are processed correctly by the backend and database.
Fix any issues with registration confirmation or email verification, if applicable.
3. UI Fixes and Improvements
Identify and fix visual issues on the sign-in and sign-up pages.
Correct alignment, spacing, padding, margins, and element sizing.
Improve the layout and consistency of input fields, buttons, labels, links, and form containers.
Ensure input fields and buttons display correctly in their default, focused, disabled, loading, and error states.
Fix overlapping elements, broken layouts, inconsistent typography, and other visual defects.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal developer has experience debugging existing web applications, fixing authentication issues, improving frontend UI, and troubleshooting frontend/backend integration.
