Fix PDF-to-Word Formatting

I have a scanned PDF that was converted to Word and the result is unusable: paragraphs shifted, fonts replaced, some text strings refuse to render at all, and images have either vanished or landed in the wrong spots. I need the document rebuilt so it looks and behaves exactly like the original PDF while remaining fully editable in Word.

Here is what matters to me:
• Every page must match the original layout line-for-line and margin-for-margin.
• All text keeps its original formatting—fonts, bold/italic, bullets, tables, headings—without stray boxes or broken characters.
• Images re-appear in the correct positions and at their original quality.
• The final file opens in current versions of Microsoft Word with no compatibility warnings.

Because the source is a scanned document, strong OCR skills in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or similar are essential. If manual clean-up in Word (styles, section breaks, anchored pictures) is required, that’s fine—as long as the finished .docx is clean and easy for me to edit later.

Deliverable: a single Word document (.docx) that mirrors the PDF visually and structurally.

If you’ve rescued messy scanned PDFs before, this should be straightforward. Let me know your estimated turnaround and any questions you have about the file’s content or length so we can get started right away.
