My wrap-around cover for a 6" × 9", 50-page booklet sailed through the creative stage but stumbled in KDP’s automated checks. KDP is flagging file-formatting and resolution issues—not the layout itself—so I need a skilled eye to bring the existing PDF up to their print-ready standards.
Here is what you’ll be working with
• Current file: single, full-bleed PDF
• Pain points: text clarity and overall resolution fall below KDP’s minimums
What I need from you
• Adjust the PDF so every element sits at 300 DPI or higher, fonts are fully embedded, colours are CMYK-safe, and the bleed remains intact.
• Run a quick pre-flight (Acrobat, InDesign, Affinity, or similar) to verify there are no hidden transparency or overprint issues.
• Deliver a final, print-ready PDF that clears KDP’s previewer with zero errors.
Turnaround
This should be a half-hour to one-hour micro-task once you have the file. Send back the corrected PDF and a brief note on the fixes you applied so I can archive the settings for future editions.
If you’re fluent with KDP specs and comfortable tweaking resolution and file settings on the fly, this is a quick win for both of us.
