Fix Google Business Phone Issue

I’m stuck at the final, simple-sounding step of adding a phone number to my Google Business Profile. Each time I click “Save,” Google pops up a generic “technical issue” message—no format or verification warning, just the vague error.

I need someone who knows the quirks of Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) to get that number accepted and visible on the live listing. Ideally you’ll walk me through what went wrong so I can avoid the same headache next time.
