Fix Chrome Extension Popup Bug

I already have the full source code for a simple Chrome extension, but something breaks the moment I click the toolbar icon. The popup either refuses to behave or throws an error I cannot trace. I only need a surgical-level tweak: locate the root cause, patch it, and supply the updated files.

What you’ll actually do
• Clone the repo I share, reproduce the issue by clicking the extension icon, and identify the faulty script, manifest entry, or resource path.
• Implement a clean fix—no feature overhaul—so the popup loads exactly as intended every time.
• Return the corrected code with a brief note of what changed and why, plus a zipped build I can load in Developer Mode for final testing.
