I need a web-based QR menu that lets guests scan a code at their table, explore our fine-dining dishes with elegant photos and detailed descriptions, place an order digitally, and have that order appear instantly on a kitchen dashboard for preparation.
The flow is straightforward: a diner scans, the menu opens in their browser, they tap to add items, confirm, and the kitchen receives a clear, ticket-style notification in real time. No payment processing is required right now—just flawless ordering and kitchen alerts.
Key deliverables:
• Responsive website menu styled for a premium restaurant atmosphere
• Admin panel where I can add, edit, or hide items, upload high-resolution images, and change descriptions
• Automatic order printout or on-screen notification in the kitchen area the moment a guest submits
• QR code generator for each table so staff can simply download and print new codes when layouts change
• Basic analytics (order counts, popular dishes) to help us refine the menu later
Please build with mainstream web tech—Laravel, Node, Django, or another stable framework is fine—as long as it loads fast on any smartphone browser and is easy for our staff to manage without coding knowledge. Once delivered, I’ll handle hosting; just provide clear deployment instructions and brief training or documentation so my team can update the menu themselves.
