Financial PDF Tables to Excel

I have fewer than five PDFs that hold key financial statement tables. I need every table moved into a single Excel workbook while preserving the original structure, cell-level formatting, and the built-in calculations that appear in the source. In other words, the finished sheets should behave exactly like the tables do in the PDF: totals must auto-update, subtotals must roll up correctly, and any percentage or ratio fields should carry over with the same formulas, not hard-coded numbers.
Because the material is strictly financial data, accuracy is critical. I will spot-check figures against the PDFs, so please use whatever you are most comfortable with—Power Query, Adobe Acrobat export, Python (tabula-pdf, camelot), or meticulous manual entry—to get perfect results.
Deliverables
• One .xlsx file containing a separate, clearly named worksheet for each PDF table
• Formulas replicated, not replaced by static values
• Formatting that matches the PDFs closely enough for immediate client presentation
• A brief note outlining any cells or calculations that could not be brought over exactly and why
If you have handled similar financial conversions before, I would love to see a quick sample or hear about your approach.
