Financial Excel Entry & Trend Analysis

I have a set of raw financial figures that need to be typed into Excel with absolute accuracy and then transformed into clear insights that highlight underlying trends. The scope is two-fold:

1) Data Entry
• Enter all supplied financial transactions, balances, and dates into a single, well-structured Excel workbook.
• Apply consistent formatting, correct data types, and named ranges so later formulas run smoothly.

2) Trend-Focused Analysis
• Use formulas, PivotTables, and simple charts to reveal month-to-month movements, year-over-year changes, and any notable spikes or dips.
• Summarise key findings in a brief commentary sheet that references the visuals.

Acceptance criteria
• Zero transcription errors (spot-checked against source).
• Workbook opens without warnings and calculates instantly.
• At least three clear visuals (line or column) that make the trends obvious at a glance.
• A short narrative (max 300 words) that explains the major movements you uncover.

I will provide the raw statements in PDF and CSV form. Please keep the layout user-friendly so that another analyst can pick it up without guidance. If you routinely use Power Query or Power Pivot, mention it—though plain Excel formulas are perfectly fine for this job.
