Financial Data Research Assistant

I run a small, fast-moving operation and need a sharp mind beside me every weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern (New York) time. During those hours you will sit at your computer, dive into live sources of financial data, and turn raw numbers into clear, actionable findings I can use immediately.

Your main focus is research and analysis. Strong data-analysis skills are essential—you should feel at home in Excel or Google Sheets, able to spot patterns quickly, calculate metrics on the fly, and sanity-check results against multiple sources. If you already dabble in tools like Python, R, Power BI, or specialized market platforms, that’s great, but your willingness to learn new techniques is even more important.

Discipline, punctuality, and the stamina to stay engaged on screen for extended stretches are non-negotiable. I will show you exactly what to look for and how to structure the information; you bring the high IQ, curiosity, and commitment to master the process.

• Daily one-page insight brief summarizing key financial findings
• Clean, annotated spreadsheet with calculated metrics and source links
• Friday recap highlighting trends, anomalies, and open questions
