I need a solid end-to-end analysis of a finance dataset that tracks expenses and costs. I have raw tables sitting in a SQL database and some scattered sheets in MS Excel; they all need to come together as one clean data model. Once everything is structured, I’d like to run deep-dive analyses and surface the key cost drivers in interactive Power BI visuals that decision-makers can grasp at a glance.

Here’s what I’m expecting:
• SQL queries that pull and transform the expense data into tidy, well-documented tables
• An Excel workbook with formulas or Power Query steps I can refresh to validate the numbers
• A Power BI report—professionally formatted—showing trends, variances, and any anomalies in costs, with slicers so users can filter by period, department, or category

I’ll provide database access and sample spreadsheets right away, and I’m happy to clarify business rules as you go. Accuracy, transparency in calculations, and a clean, navigable BI interface are my top priorities. Let me know how quickly you can turn around a first draft and what checkpoints you prefer for feedback.
