Fiction Book Manuscript Preparation

I need a middle school fiction novel manuscript prepared for submission to a publisher. I need to prepare my middle grade fiction book for submission to a publisher by September 1, 2026. It is approximately 95 pages in length. Deadline for this job to be completed - ASAP. I can send you the first 50 pages now. The other 45 will follow in the next week.

Ideal skills
- Experience with publisher submission processes
- set margins, spacing
- check font consistency and point size throughout entire book
- start chapters on a new page - no page numbers
- use Chicago Manual of Style rules
- No use of AI tools in any part of the work.
- Freelancer must have English as their first language.
- Final deliverable must be returned as a Word Document.
I am on a budget and I do not need editing. I used an app many years ago that converted my typed pages to a Word doc. It did some very unusual conversions to typefaces, characters and point size. This book is almost ready to go but I need it tidied up before submitting it. I need help with the appearance, not the writing. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on this project and I don’t think it will be hard to get this final step accomplished.
