I run a gaming channel and I’m ready to hand the editing reins to someone who thrives on speed, impact and creative flair. Each raw recording is packed with exciting moments, but I need you to turn it into a tight, adrenaline-filled final cut that keeps viewers glued to the screen.
Here’s what I’m after: punchy pacing, clever jump-cuts, impactful zooms, motion graphics for call-outs, on-beat transitions and the occasional cinematic effect that amplifies clutch plays. Think of the way top esports highlight reels feel—nothing drags, and every second matters. My recordings land between 20–40 minutes; the finished videos usually sit around the 10–15-minute mark once the fat is trimmed.
I supply:
• Clean gameplay footage in 1080p or 1440p
• Separate audio tracks for commentary and game sound
• A folder of channel assets (intro sting, logo, end screen, fonts, music licensed for YouTube)
You deliver:
• One polished, export-ready video file (MP4, H.264, 1080p or higher)
• A short, punchy teaser (≤30 sec) for socials using the same style
• The editable project file (Premiere Pro preferred, DaVinci Resolve is fine too) so I can tweak if needed
Acceptance criteria: the pacing must stay consistently high; stingers and cuts must align with the beat; no copyright-flagged assets; final render passes YouTube’s quality check without compression artefacts.
If this editing style is in your wheelhouse, send a link to at least two relevant gaming edits you’ve produced and let me know your typical turnaround time. Looking forward to seeing how you can level up the channel’s energy.
