Fast Data Entry Task

A batch of raw information needs to be transferred from its current mixed sources into a clean, well-structured file that I can work with immediately. Accuracy, neat formatting, and a quick turnaround matter more to me than the size of the team or the tools you prefer, as long as the final file opens flawlessly in Excel or any standard CSV reader.

All fields must be entered exactly as they appear in the originals, with consistent date and number formatting throughout. Duplicates should be flagged, obvious errors highlighted, and any unreadable entries noted rather than guessed at. I will share the files and a short field-mapping guide once we agree on the start time.

Please include in your proposal:
• an estimated completion time for a typical 1,000-row batch,
• the quality-control steps you normally use to ensure perfect copy, and
• a quick note on the software you trust most for data validation—whether it’s Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice, or a Python script.

Deliver the finished, cleaned file plus your QC log, and the job is done.
