I recently completed the structure of my weekend farmhouse and now need a design-only partner to take it from bare shell to a fully detailed, build-ready package.
Phase 1 – Site Verification
Start with an on-site measurement survey. I need precise As-Built drawings in AutoCAD showing every wall, opening, floor-to-ceiling height, beam, column, and every existing electrical or plumbing point. Accuracy here is critical, as all later work hinges on these files.
Phase 2 – Concept to Photoreal
Using the verified plans, develop detailed 2D layouts and furniture planning for the interiors, the detached gazebo, and the complete landscape. Photorealistic 3D renders are required for all three areas so I can visualise the final look before sign-off. The aesthetic is a premium rustic farmhouse: think warm natural finishes, exposed timber, and especially traditional hand-carved teak furniture anchoring the interiors.
Phase 3 – Build-Ready Documentation
Translate the approved design into working drawings—joinery details, reflected ceiling plans, electrical & plumbing overlays, landscape hardscape/softscape sheets, and a material specification schedule. Everything should be ready for local craftsmen and contractors to price and execute without guesswork.
To move forward, please share:
• A portfolio link highlighting similar rustic or farmhouse work
• Your fixed design-only fee or a milestone breakdown
• What you include in the deliverable set (drawings, renders, material board, etc.)
• Number of revisions covered
• Estimated timeline from survey to final issue
I will shortlist based on relevant experience, clarity of deliverables, and ability to capture that timeless rustic feel with authentic teak craftsmanship. Looking forward to collaborating.
