I’m in the thick of drafting a fantasy novel and the plot is flowing, yet the setting still feels like a sketch instead of a living place. I’d love your help turning that sketch into a fully realised world that readers can walk through in their minds.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A cohesive world-building “bible” that covers geography, cultures, history, politics, economics, flora & fauna—everything that shapes day-to-day life for my characters.
• Story-driven details: each element you design should create opportunities for conflict, tension or wonder inside the wider narrative arc I already have.
• Consistency guidelines I can reference while writing future chapters, so locations, customs and timelines never contradict themselves.

The project is focused on world-building (I’ve already chosen Fantasy as the genre and Novel as the form), so you won’t need to develop a magic system or deep-dive into individual character arcs unless those threads naturally emerge from the setting work. I’m happy to brainstorm live, share chapter excerpts, or hand over an outline—whatever helps you anchor the strategy.

Deliverables will be accepted once the reference document is:
1. Comprehensive enough that a new reader could understand how the world works without my input.
2. Organised for quick lookup (sections, headings, or a hyperlinked table of contents are fine).
3. Internally consistent and clearly tied back to the themes and stakes of the novel.

If you’re excited about crafting immersive settings and have a knack for weaving world logic into story momentum, I’d love to collaborate.
