Fantasy Children’s Storybook Creation

I’m ready to turn a charming fantasy tale for ages 3-7 into a fully finished picture book and need a creative partner to make it happen. The manuscript is outlined but still flexible, so your storytelling instincts can shine alongside mine.

Here’s the vision: a light-hearted fantasy adventure told in simple language and brought to life with bright, cartoonish illustrations that capture young imaginations. I’m picturing around 24–28 pages, each spread pairing concise text with a full-colour drawing.

What I’ll count on you for
• Polishing or co-writing the narrative so it flows perfectly for early readers and read-aloud sessions.
• Designing original, cartoon-style artwork—digital or hand-drawn is fine—delivered in high-resolution files ready for print (CMYK, 300 dpi) and e-book platforms.
• Laying out the final pages (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or similar) so text and images work seamlessly together.
• Supplying the finished PDF plus layered source files so I can make future tweaks if needed.

Acceptance criteria
– Engaging, age-appropriate language and pacing throughout.
– Consistent character design and a cohesive colour palette across all illustrations.
– Print-ready interior PDF and separate cover file that meet KDP or IngramSpark specs.
