For three decades our two once-separate families have gathered every Christmas Eve, blending traditions, stories, and plenty of laughter. I have collected photographs, letters, recipes, and recorded interviews, but I need a seasoned storyteller to turn this treasure trove into a cohesive book.

Scope
• Structure the narrative in clear chronological order, beginning with the moment the families first met and moving through each memorable Christmas Eve up to the present day.
• Give balanced attention to the merger of the families, the evolution of our shared traditions, and the stand-out events that shaped those nights.
• Weave in personal anecdotes, brief historical context, and light humour so the finished manuscript feels at once informative, heart-warming, and occasionally playful.

What I will provide
– Rough timeline of 30 years of gatherings
– Transcribed interviews and notes from key family members
– Digital photos and scans of keepsakes for reference

Preferred approach
Draft in Google Docs or Microsoft Word so we can comment and track changes easily. I’m happy to review each chapter as it’s completed, but I’m also open to milestone submissions (outline, first three chapters, full draft, final polish).

Deliverables
1. Detailed chapter outline
2. Full manuscript (approx. 35,000–45,000 words, but flexible) edited for flow and clarity
3. Light formatting suitable for print-on-demand and e-book conversion
4. Source list of quoted anecdotes to keep our family voices accurate

Acceptance criteria
• Chronological structure is maintained from first meeting to the 30th Christmas Eve
• All three focal areas—family merger, traditions, memorable moments—receive thoughtful coverage
• Tone shifts naturally between informative, sentimental, and humorous without feeling disjointed
• Manuscript is free of grammatical errors and ready for a professional proof-read
