Factory Automation Software Development

My factory operations need an end-to-end Windows application that removes the manual work from two critical areas: inventory management and production scheduling. The goal is a single, self-contained program that runs on our in-house Windows PCs, requires no connection to existing machinery or other systems, and is intuitive enough that the floor supervisors can rely on it without constant IT support.

Core functionality will include real-time stock level tracking with automatic reorder alerts, plus a production calendar that dynamically balances workloads and flags conflicts. A clean dashboard bringing these two views together is important, and simple role-based logins will keep data secure yet accessible to the right people.

To be considered complete, the project must deliver:
• A compiled Windows installer with all dependencies bundled
• Clear user and admin documentation outlining setup, daily use, and basic troubleshooting

Technologies are flexible as long as the final program is stable, responsive, and easily maintainable—.NET, C#, or similar Windows-friendly stacks are all acceptable. Source code ownership will transfer to me at handover, and a short hand-off session (video or live) should walk my team through deployment and first-run configuration.
