I represent the Washington Waterfowl Association, an 80-year-old nonprofit that protects habitat and promotes ethical hunting. Although our mission is strong, our Facebook and Instagram feeds are not: volunteer efforts have kept us treading water and the board has decided it is time for a proper push.

What I need
Over the next six months I want a steady stream of content—four posts each week—built from three rich sources we already have in hand:
• fresh items from our monthly newsletters and archives
• announcements and photos from ongoing events and field projects
• member-supplied hunting-season pictures and stories

Everything should read in a casual, friendly voice that invites interaction, questions and shares.

What success looks like
1. A six-month content calendar that slots those four weekly posts into the best days and times for our audience.
2. Captions, hashtags and light graphic work that make each post stand out while staying on brand.
3. Prompt comment monitoring and simple engagement (liking, answering quick questions, flagging anything that needs board input).
4. Monthly wrap-ups so we can see growth in reach, engagement and new followers—and learn what is resonating.
5. Processes and simple templates documented so, once critical mass is reached, a volunteer can keep the momentum with minimal effort.
6. we have a website, https://www.washingtonwaterfowl.org/, that you can refer to for more background on us

You will have direct access to past newsletters, current event details, a library of images and the enthusiastic support of members eager to share their field photos. If you can translate that raw material into an engaging social presence that practically runs itself by the end of the engagement, let’s talk.
