Face Video Recording (Ethnicity : Black or African American)

Summary
We are looking for participants of Black or African American background to take part in a paid face video recording project. No special skills or experience are needed. If you are comfortable recording your face on camera and can follow simple on-screen instructions, you are eligible to apply.

What You Will Do
You will complete 20 short face video recordings using a web-based tool on your own device. Each video requires 2 to 3 minutes of recording, followed by completing the required information fields. The tool will guide you through each step with clear on-screen instructions. For 10 of the videos, you will record your face naturally. For the remaining 10, you will wear a printed paper mask and follow the same instructions.

What You Need
• You must be of Black or African American background
• You must be 18 years of age or older
• A smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a working front-facing camera
• A stable internet connection
• Availability to complete 20 short video recordings

What to Expect During the Session
• You will record videos indoors and outdoors
• Some videos will be recorded in normal lighting, some in bright or spotlight conditions, and some in dim or dark environments
• For some videos you may be asked to wear accessories such as a cap, reading glasses, or a hoodie

Important
• Each application is for one participant only. You will be assigned a unique ID for your session.
• Your face must be the only face visible in every video.
• No AI-generated content is permitted under any circumstances.
• All recordings are reviewed for quality before acceptance.
• By taking part you give consent for your face video recordings to be used for AI research and model training.
