Extract PDF Text into Excel

A batch of digital files (e.g., PDFs) contains plain text that must be transferred, line by line, into a structured Excel workbook. The task is entirely text-based—no numbers or calculations—so accuracy in spelling, punctuation, and spacing is essential.

I will supply the PDFs and a template spreadsheet with the required column headers. Your job is to read each PDF, capture the relevant text exactly as it appears, and place it in the corresponding cells. If a PDF page includes headers, footers, or incidental content, leave those out unless I flag them as needed.

Deliverables:
• Completed Excel file populated with the extracted text
• A brief note highlighting any unreadable characters or ambiguous passages

Before starting, confirm you can open standard PDFs and work comfortably in Microsoft Excel (or compatible software such as Google Sheets, though the final hand-off must be an .xlsx file). No macros or automation are required; this is straightforward manual entry, but consistency matters.

Once the final sheet passes a quick spot-check for fidelity against the source PDFs, the project will be marked complete.
