Every day new messages land in my Gmail inbox and I need only one field from each of them—the sender’s email address—captured in Excel. Each message should occupy a separate row so I can sort, filter, and run simple counts without any extra cleanup.

I’m looking for a small, self-running workflow that:
• Connects to my Gmail account, scans all new incoming mail on a daily basis (time of day is flexible).
• Pulls just the sender’s email address from each message.
• Appends that address to an existing or newly created .xlsx file, placing each email on its own row in chronological order.

You’re free to choose the most efficient approach—Google Apps Script, a lightweight Python script using the Gmail API, or another proven method—as long as it runs reliably in the background and doesn’t require me to click anything once it’s set up.

Deliverables
1. Working script or automation with clear setup instructions.
2. A test Excel file showing the captured addresses for demonstration.
3. Brief documentation explaining how to adjust the date range or change the output file path in the future.

Once everything is tested and I can see one day’s worth of senders appear in Excel automatically, the job is done.
