I have a series of long-form podcast episodes, each running well over an hour and already compiled as MP3 files. I need every word captured accurately, with clear time-stamps inserted throughout the text so that I can jump to any moment during post-production or when creating show notes.
Once the raw transcript is complete, I also want the key metadata from each episode—title, guest names, runtime, and a link to the audio file—entered into a Google Sheet I will share. This way the written record and the spreadsheet stay perfectly in sync.
Deliverables
• A neatly formatted text or Word document for each episode, fully transcribed and time-stamped.
• The corresponding rows filled out in my Google Sheet for every new episode.
Accuracy and a quick turnaround are more important to me than rigid formatting quirks, but please keep speaker labels consistent if multiple voices are present. If you normally work in tools like Otter.ai or Descript, that’s fine, just be sure the final copy is human-proofread before submission.
