I am looking for a single professional who can support me during Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato, taking place 10–13 November 2026 at Agrifood Expo Guanajuato Exhibition Center, Carretera Irapuato Abasolo KM 6.5, Colonia Santa Elena, CP 36849, Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Your role is to bridge English-Spanish communication for the show’s formal programme—mainly presentations or speeches—providing both simultaneous and consecutive translation as the situation demands.
What I will count on you for
• Arrive each day ahead of schedule, set up any headsets or basic equipment you prefer, and be ready when the first talk begins.
• Deliver clear, accurate simultaneous interpreting during keynote sessions, switching to consecutive mode whenever a speaker requests audience Q&A or more interactive segments.
• Coordinate briefly with presenters so you understand any technical agrifood terminology before they take the stage.
• Keep me informed of any language-specific issues that could affect the flow of a session.
Acceptance criteria
• All presentations are rendered fluently in both directions (English ↔ Spanish) without noticeable lag.
• Speakers confirm they felt fully understood; attendees confirm the message was clear.
• A brief end-of-day summary (bullet points or voice note) flags any terms that caused difficulty and suggests fixes for the following day.
If you are comfortable with fast-paced expo environments and have proven experience in agricultural or technical events, please share a concise overview of similar assignments and any certification you hold. I will review submissions quickly so we can lock in travel logistics well ahead of November 2026.
