Experienced WordPress Developer Needed

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer who can independently build, customize, maintain, and optimize professional WordPress websites.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both existing WordPress websites and new projects, including custom themes, plugins, responsive layouts, integrations, performance optimization, security, and deployment.

You will work with our project and design teams to convert business requirements and UI/UX designs into secure, responsive, high-performance WordPress websites.

Responsibilities

* Develop complete WordPress websites from provided requirements, Figma designs, or reference websites.
* Customize existing WordPress themes and templates.
* Develop or modify custom WordPress themes when required.
* Install, configure, customize, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins.
* Work with Elementor / Elementor Pro, Gutenberg, WPBakery, Divi, or similar page builders.
* Build responsive websites optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
* Develop custom functionality using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
* Work with WordPress hooks, filters, shortcodes, custom post types, and taxonomies.
* Integrate third-party APIs and external platforms with WordPress.
* Configure contact forms, email notifications, SMTP, CRM integrations, and marketing tools.
* Implement WooCommerce websites and customize checkout, products, payments, and shipping when required.
* Integrate payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar services.
* Perform WordPress migration between hosting environments.
* Configure domains, DNS, SSL certificates, staging, and production environments.
* Optimize website loading speed and Core Web Vitals.
* Optimize images, caching, CSS, JavaScript, and database performance.
* Implement SEO-friendly website structures and work with plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math.
* Maintain website security, backups, updates, and malware protection.
* Troubleshoot compatibility issues between themes, plugins, WordPress versions, and PHP versions.
* Fix bugs and production issues quickly.
* Perform browser and mobile compatibility testing.
* Maintain clean, reusable, and properly documented code.
* Use Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps or similar version-control systems for source-code management.
* Provide regular progress updates and communicate blockers clearly.
