Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Webmaster to take full ownership of maintaining, optimizing, and keeping our website secure, fast, and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Security & Updates: Perform regular core, theme, and plugin updates; monitor for security vulnerabilities and malware.
Performance & Speed: Optimize site load times, database hygiene, and Core Web Vitals (desktop & mobile).
Backups & Uptime: Set up and manage automated daily/weekly offsite backups and 24/7 uptime monitoring.
Troubleshooting & Fixes: Diagnose and fix broken links, 404 errors, visual layout glitches, and form submission issues.
Domain & Hosting Management: Handle SSL certificates, DNS records, and server/hosting configurations as needed.
Content Updates (Optional): Assist with basic page edits, uploading blog posts, or publishing landing pages.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Webmaster or Site Reliability Specialist.
Deep expertise with WordPress and popular hosting environments (cPanel, AWS, Cloudflare, etc.).
Strong understanding of DNS settings, SSL, caching, and server logs.
Proactive communication and rapid response time for urgent downtime issues.
