Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP PM Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP ECC 6.0 implementation, configuration, support, master data, transactional activities, and integration with MM / PP / FICO modules.

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience with minimum 2 end-to-end SAP ECC 6.0 implementation project experience, including project documentation and activities within BBP, Realization, Final Preparation, and post Go-Live Support.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute SAP implementation, development, and support activities for SAP Plant Maintenance

Configure and support SAP PM module based on business requirements

Work on SAP PM master data and transactional activities

Configure Functional Locations, Equipment, Maintenance Task Lists, Measuring Points, Counters, PM Work Centers, and Maintenance Plans

Support Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance processes

Work on Calibration Process and Refurbishment Process

Handle integration with SAP MM, PP, FICO modules and external applications

Understand client requirements and provide functional solutions

Prepare functional specifications and configure the system accordingly

Upload master data and transaction data as per project requirements

Analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps

Provide alternative solutions based on existing design and business needs

Prepare project documentation within BBP, Realization, Final Preparation, and post Go-Live Support phases

Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and technical teams

Required Skills

8+ years of experience as SAP PM Functional Consultant

Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP ECC 6.0 implementation project experience

Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP Plant Maintenance

Sound knowledge of SAP PM master data and transactional activities

Experience in Functional Locations, Equipment, Maintenance Task List, Measuring Point, Counters, PM Work Centers, and Maintenance Plans

Strong knowledge of Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance processes

Experience in Calibration Process and Refurbishment Process

Good integration knowledge with SAP MM, PP, and FICO modules

Experience integrating SAP PM with external applications

Good knowledge of uploading master data and transaction data

Experience in requirement gathering, functional specifications, configuration, and support

Strong gap analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design skills

Good documentation and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

Relevant SAP Certification will be an added advantage

Business / Industry experience in Steel Melting — Stainless Steel / Mild Steel

Experience in Aluminum Die-Casting, Forging, Metal-Casting, Discrete Manufacturing, or Auto Ancillary Industry

Experience working in onsite delivery model

Experience in contract-based assignments
