Experienced Paralegal for Criminal Defense Assistance

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to assist with a Georgia-based criminal defense matter.

Our defense attorney, Judy Kim, is interested in consulting with a qualified professional who can provide support with witness interviews, evidence organization, and investigative coordination.

Potential Responsibilities:

Conduct voluntary witness interviews under attorney supervision.
Prepare detailed interview summaries and reports.
Assist with organizing evidence and case timelines.
Review relevant records and identify areas requiring further investigation.
Coordinate with defense counsel regarding investigative priorities.

Qualifications:

Significant paralegal experience preferred.
Criminal defense or litigation experience strongly preferred.
Strong interviewing, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive legal matters.
Familiarity with Georgia criminal proceedings is a plus.
Ability to interview witnesses (Required)

During the initial consultation, our defense attorney, Judy Kim, would like to discuss your experience with criminal defense matters, particularly witness interviews, evidence review, and investigative support. We have several witnesses who need to be interviewed, and we're looking for someone who can conduct those interviews professionally, document their findings, and provide detailed reports to counsel.

The immediate deliverable would be an assessment of your qualifications, availability, proposed approach, and rates. No investigative work would be expected during the consultation. If counsel determines the professional is a good fit, we will discuss specific assignments, timelines, and compensation. There is potential for continued work as the case progresses.
