I am submitting my application for the position of a OSINT specialist, that might work for you or your company in the near future. For over twenty years, I worked within the Romanian Naval Forces in the field of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT): I monitored national and international media, news agencies, and social networks on a daily basis, transforming large volumes of data into concise, verified briefings—valuable tools for those who needed to make decisions based on them. This is, in essence, the work I propose to carry out for your company as well.
I worked 12-hour shifts at a computer, overseeing a team of at least three people per shift. I selected and cross-referenced information from both Romanian and English-language sources, discarded unverified data, and drafted materials for various recipients—often under tight deadlines. This experience instilled in me a habit that I believe any employer would find valuable: I verify facts before I write, and I write concisely and to the point.
Working with text and the English language has been a constant throughout my career. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Letters and Theology at Ovidius University of Constanța, specializing in Romanian and English. I taught English for three years, and during my studies, I worked as a reporter for the former "Radio Contact Constanța," while also collaborating with the news agency "Mediafax" and the television station "Pro TV." I possess a C2-level command of English, which allows me to work directly with English-language sources, documents, and individuals, as well as to provide accurate translations in both directions.
I concluded my military career in March 2026 and am now seeking a stable position in the private sector—either in or near Constanța, or in a remote capacity—where I can leverage my experience. I bring with me a respect for deadlines and procedures—instilled during my military service—as well as discretion in handling information and the ability to see tasks through to completion without the need for constant supervision. At the same time, I am fully prepared to learn the specific tools and workflows used by your team. I currently work as a shift supervisor for a security firm and am available to start a new role following a two-week notice period.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I am available for an interview—either in person or online—where I can demonstrate specifically how I can contribute to your team’s work.
Sincerely,
Constantin Crinișor Corcheș
