Experienced Magento Web Developer to develop a multivendor B to C and B to B wholesale directory

I’m looking for a Magento specialist who can set up a full-featured multivendor directory that serves both retail shoppers and wholesale buyers. I haven’t committed to Magento 1 or Magento 2 yet, so I’ll rely on your advice to pick the version that gives us the best long-term stability, marketplace module support, and performance.

The platform must handle a mix of physical goods and instantly downloadable digital items, with the usual variations—stock tracking, shipping rules, and secure file delivery all working side by side. Marketplace extensions such as Webkul or CedCommerce are fine if they shorten the timeline, but I’m open to custom development where it makes more sense.

Each vendor will receive a dashboard that needs only light cosmetic tweaks: our branding, a streamlined product-upload flow, and a straightforward sales/commission report. No deep rewrites required.
