Graphic Designer Needed for Exhibition Fabric Stand and Matching Presentation Box

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer to take an existing exhibition stand concept and turn it into professional, high quality, print ready artwork.

The concept has already been created. We will provide the reference image showing exactly the direction we want.

We are not looking for somebody to reinvent the concept or develop a completely different design. We need someone with a good eye for exhibition design to professionally recreate, refine and prepare it for production.

The Concept

The exhibition campaign is based around:

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

The stand is for the UK SME Responsible Business Association, UKRBA.

The idea is deliberately simple. From across the exhibition hall, visitors should see the words:

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

along with a large, premium looking branded UKRBA presentation box.

There will then be a real physical version of the box on the stand, so the box shown on the backdrop and the physical box need to look and feel like part of the same campaign.

We will supply the reference image so you can clearly see the concept.

Part 1: Exhibition Fabric Stand

This is a portable exhibition display consisting of an aluminium frame with a large printed fabric cover stretched over the frame.

It is not a conventional poster, rigid wall or simple pull up banner.

We will supply the manufacturer's artwork template and exact dimensions before final artwork is produced.

The designer will need to professionally recreate the reference concept at the correct size and quality for large format fabric printing.

The finished design needs to:

Make WHAT’S IN THE BOX? the main attention grabbing headline.

Be readable from a significant distance in a busy exhibition hall.

Feature a large premium looking UKRBA presentation box.

Use our genuine UKRBA logo and brand assets.

Use our navy, green and white corporate branding.

Look clean, modern and professional.

Avoid unnecessary information or clutter.

Allow for people, a table and the physical box being positioned in front of the stand.

Keep the most important branding and headline high enough that they remain clearly visible.

Take account of fabric stretch, edges, wrap around areas, seams, safe areas and bleed according to the manufacturer's template.

Part 2: Physical Presentation Box

We also need the designer to create the artwork for the actual physical presentation box that will sit on the exhibition table.

This is an important part of the overall concept.

When somebody sees the large box on the backdrop, we want them to then see the matching real box on the table.

The physical box should look premium and substantial, more like a high quality presentation or gift box than ordinary packaging.

We will provide the final dimensions or manufacturer's dieline/template for the physical box.

The designer should create appropriate artwork for the lid and visible sides of the box.

The main UKRBA shield/logo should feature prominently.

We are open to using either:

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

or simply a large ?

on part of the physical box if this improves the overall design.

The physical box shown on the exhibition backdrop should visually match the real box as closely as possible.

Very Important

The images we provide are concept/reference images.

They must not simply be enlarged and sent to a printer.

We want the artwork properly recreated so that logos, typography, shapes, curves, backgrounds and the presentation box are genuinely high quality at exhibition size.

Where appropriate, elements should be recreated as vector artwork.

We want the finished stand to look like it has been professionally designed for a national business exhibition, not like an enlarged AI generated image.

At the same time, please do not overdesign it.

The simplicity of the existing concept is deliberate.

The purpose of the stand is to make somebody walking past stop, look at it and think:

“What is in the box?”

We Will Provide

Existing concept/reference image.

Official UKRBA logo files.

UKRBA brand colours and branding.

Fabric exhibition stand manufacturer's artwork template.

Exact finished dimensions.

Physical box dimensions or manufacturer's dieline when available.

Deliverables

We will require:

Professionally recreated exhibition backdrop design.
Print ready artwork produced to the manufacturer's exact fabric stand template.
Artwork for the matching physical presentation box.
Print ready PDF files.
Editable original/source files, preferably Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent professional format.
Any separate vector graphics or assets created for the project.
High resolution JPG or PNG proofs so we can approve the designs before printing.
Experience Required

We would particularly like to hear from designers with previous experience in:

Exhibition stand graphics.

Tension fabric exhibition displays.

Stretch fabric exhibition walls.

Large format printing.

Trade show and event graphics.

Packaging or presentation box design.

When applying, please send examples of relevant exhibition or large format work you have previously completed.

Please also confirm that you understand that this is a large format fabric exhibition display, and that you can work from a manufacturer's print template and deliver genuinely print ready artwork.

Final Point

We already like the concept shown in the image we will provide.

We want you to make it professionally designed, technically correct and exceptional at full exhibition size, rather than changing the fundamental idea.

The exhibition stand and the physical box need to feel like one coordinated design.
