Project Description

I am looking for an experienced Windows/Java developer to develop a very lightweight Windows EXE application for remote system management.

The application should be optimized for low resource usage, with a target executable size of approximately 2–3 MB if technically possible.

Required Features
1. Simple/Minimal Installation
• No complicated infrastructure or installation process.
• Prefer a simple standalone EXE.
• No visible front-end/UI is required for the client application.
• The application should operate in the background.
2. Remote File Manager
• From the management panel, we should be able to access the connected Windows system’s file structure.
• Upload files to the system.
• Download files from the system.
• Basic file-management functionality.
3. Remote Screen Access
• Management panel should be able to view the connected computer’s screen remotely.
• Screen streaming should be reasonably efficient with low bandwidth/resource usage.
4. Background Operation
• Client should operate as a background service/application.
• It should not unnecessarily interfere with the user’s normal computer operation.
5. Automatic Recovery
• If the application/service crashes, it should automatically restart.
• It should be reliable and able to recover without requiring manual intervention.
• We need to avoid unnecessary repeated restart loops.
6. Windows Service Management
• Ability to control/manage the Windows service from the management panel where appropriate.
• Start/stop/restart/status functionality.
7. Remote Command Execution
• Authorized administrators should be able to send commands to the Windows machine through the management panel.
• Command execution must be authenticated and access-controlled
