I am looking for an exceptional editor for a planned series of approximately 30–50 YouTube videos over the next few months. My budget is open for the right person. Quality, judgment and clear visual storytelling are the priorities. The displayed budget range is an indicative guide per video; please submit your realistic quote even if it falls outside that range.
Each video starts with approximately 40 minutes of freely spoken footage containing retakes, mistakes, pauses and repetition. You will select the strongest takes and build a coherent, engaging finished video of approximately 20 minutes, preserving my meaning and natural delivery. There may be no finished script, so you must understand the material and make thoughtful editorial decisions.
Each finished video needs:
- Approximately five minutes of extremely high-quality, subject-relevant B-roll, in sequences of roughly 10 seconds to one minute. A sequence can contain several shots. Every visual must support what I am explaining.
- Natural, realistic, professional visuals. AI tools are acceptable when the result meets the same standard; generic filler, obvious AI artifacts and weak imagery are unacceptable.
- Accurate NKJV Scripture displayed full-screen throughout every passage I read aloud, with readable text timed to my voice. I intentionally look away from the camera while reading. Scripture panels are required in addition to the B-roll.
- Clear, polished timelines, maps, diagrams and explanatory graphics where these help the audience understand the teaching and sequence of events.
- Clean cuts, tasteful pans, slow pushes and well-placed punch-ins to emphasise key points.
- Suitable background music under the opening approximately 30 seconds, plus polished speech audio and consistent colour.
The content is Christian theology and biblical prophecy. Preserve the intended teaching and flag unclear points rather than making substantive changes to the argument. Strong comprehension is essential.
B-roll quality is a deciding requirement. I will not proceed with an editor whose supporting visuals fail to meet the standard, even if the basic editing is competent. I am willing to pay higher rates for exceptional work. We will establish the quality and working relationship on an initial video or agreed paid trial before committing to the wider series.
Please provide:
1. Two or three relevant finished videos you personally edited, explaining your contribution and pointing to your strongest B-roll and explanatory graphics.
2. An example of how you have shaped unscripted talking-head footage into a clear, flowing video.
3. Your price per finished video in AUD, including revisions and any separate stock, music or asset costs.
4. Your turnaround per video and capacity for ongoing work over the next few months.
5. Whether you will personally do the work or which team members will be involved.
All supplied footage, music and other assets must be cleared for use on my YouTube channel. Please apply only if your portfolio demonstrates the standard described above. I want to work directly with the editor or team doing the work.
