I have a set of accounting sales figures that I need explored in depth. The goal is purely descriptive: summarising what has happened rather than forecasting or optimising. Using Excel—nothing else—you’ll clean and structure the raw sales data, build the necessary pivot tables, and generate clear charts that highlight trends, seasonality, and any standout variances.

The final workbook should let any stakeholder slice the information quickly by product line, region, and period, while a brief narrative summary (one or two pages) explains the key findings in plain language.
