Excel Rota Cleanup & Automation

I’m working with an Excel rota that has become unwieldy and hard to trust. I need you to reorganise it so every working day appears in chronological order, start- and finish-time columns calculate shift length automatically, and monthly hour totals are ready at a glance.

Please separate the data by shifts (not by clients or locations) so each type of shift is simple to scan and edit. Because I frequently adjust start or finish times, all totals must update instantly through robust formulas, not manual entry.

A key requirement is highlighting any scheduling conflicts; the moment two shifts clash I want clear conditional-formatting alerts so I can spot and fix issues right away.

While you’re streamlining the layout, keep the original information intact—just tidy the formatting so it looks clean, professional, and remains easy to expand for future weeks.
