I’m looking for a specialist who can turn my existing Microsoft Excel files into a reliable, easy-to-update progress-tracking system for my projects. My main objective is to see at a glance what has been completed, what’s running behind, and where I should re-allocate attention.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Design or refine worksheets so tasks, dates, owners, and status flow logically and remain error-free.
• Build automated calculations (percent complete, variance vs. baseline, critical milestones).
• Add clear visual cues—conditional formatting, traffic-light indicators, or charts—that instantly flag delays or risks.
• Create a concise dashboard summarising overall project health and drilling down to individual task level.
• Document the steps and formulas so I can maintain the file confidently after hand-off.
My current environment is strictly Excel, so please leverage functions, pivot tables, Power Query, or lightweight VBA—whatever keeps the file performant and easy for non-technical team members to use.
Once delivered, I’ll review the file against our live project data; acceptance is complete when the tracker updates accurately and the dashboard reflects changes in real time without manual tweaks.
If you have a track record of building solid Excel project trackers, I’m ready to get started.
