Excel Order & Invoice Automation

I need my existing workbooks transformed into a single, streamlined system that removes all of the manual effort that currently goes into recording order entries, updating production logs, logging dispatches, and producing invoices. At the moment I key everything in by hand inside several separate Excel sheets, so the risk of typos and missed updates is high and it takes far too long to pull information together when a customer or the factory asks for status.
Here’s what I want the finished file (or set of files) to do:
• One-time entry of an order should automatically populate the relevant production log, create a dispatch record, and prepare an invoice ready to email or print.
• All logs must stay fully searchable and filterable, preferably with a user-friendly dashboard or buttons that run the required VBA or Power Query steps in the background.
• Any formulas, tables, or macros you build need to be easy for me to maintain or extend later—I’m comfortable in Excel but not a coder. Clear in-file comments or a brief hand-off note are therefore essential.
Acceptance criteria:
1. I can enter an order in a single form or table and watch every connected sheet update instantly.
2. Clicking “Generate Invoice” produces a pre-formatted PDF ready to send.
3. Production and dispatch logs update without data duplication or broken links after I clear old entries for a new week or month.
If you’ve built similar VBA or Power Query automations, please mention it and feel free to suggest improvements I may have missed. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on an approach.
