Excel O&M Schedules to Odoo

I’m ready to leave behind the maze of spreadsheets that currently drives our Operation & Maintenance workflow and bring everything into Odoo Studio. All of my schedules, trackers and reports live in Excel today; I want the same information—and the same ease of use—but with the power and automation Odoo offers.

Here’s the scope in plain terms:

• Custom data-entry forms that mirror the existing Excel sheets so my team can add or edit work orders, spare-parts movements and daily logs directly in Odoo.
• Automated reports that run on a schedule and pull live data for management review—no more manual consolidation.
• Interactive graphs and charts for performance KPIs, maintenance costs and inventory levels.
• A documents tracker that links drawings, manuals and signed job sheets to each work order through the Documents and Sign apps.
• A real-time project dashboard plus a separate work-orders tracker, both built in Odoo Studio.

All new objects must tie neatly into Project Management, Inventory Management, Operation & Maintenance, Documents, Sign, Dashboard, Timesheet and, of course, Studio itself. I haven’t fixed the exact Odoo version yet, so please build with standard 14–16 functionality in mind to keep upgrades painless.

Acceptance criteria
• Every legacy Excel field and formula is accounted for inside Odoo.
• Reports, charts and dashboards refresh automatically without user intervention.
• Historical Excel data is imported, validated and visible in the new models.
• User permissions match current roles, and test users can complete a full maintenance cycle—from work-order creation to final sign-off—without reverting to Excel.
• Clear hand-over documentation explains every Studio customization for future maintenance.
