I need a clean, easy-to-use Excel workbook that lets me record daily in-out data and then, at month’s end, shows a single page summarising total attendance for each shift (morning, evening, night).
Here is what matters to me:
• One tab for daily entries where I can simply mark P/A or hours worked.
• A second tab that automatically rolls those entries into a month-to-date table, adding up the totals for every shift and displaying them side-by-side so I instantly see which shift had the highest absenteeism or overtime.
• All formulas protected but editable input rows left unlocked so staff can update without breaking anything.
• Clear, minimal formatting—no clutter—just headings, totals and maybe conditional colour to flag unusually low attendance.
If you prefer PivotTables, dynamic arrays or classic SUMIF/COUNTIF, use whatever makes the sheet refresh itself the moment new data is entered; I only care that the end numbers are always correct. Please deliver the finished .xlsx file plus a brief note explaining where to paste next month’s roster so the summary keeps working.
