I need a single, highly-interactive MIS dashboard built in Excel that can read from several existing Excel workbooks and turn that raw data into clear, management-ready insights. The solution should consolidate the files automatically, refresh on demand, and surface the most important KPIs through slicers, dynamic charts, and drill-down summaries.
Power Query, PivotTables / Power Pivot, advanced formulas, and—where it genuinely adds value—VBA are all welcome so long as the final workbook remains portable and easy for non-technical colleagues to maintain. At the click of a button every metric must update, ready for export to PDF or direct screen presentation at our weekly management meeting.
Deliverables:
• A fully-functional .xlsx/.xlsm dashboard that connects only to the designated Excel sources
• Clear, in-file documentation showing data paths, key calculations, and any code used
• A short hand-over call or video walkthrough so the team understands refresh and maintenance steps
I’m open to design suggestions and additional bells and whistles, but data integrity, refresh speed, and clean visual storytelling come first. If you’ve built similar Excel-based MIS tools and can start soon, let’s talk.
