Excel Inventory Data Entry

I need our current inventory figures transferred into a clean, well-structured Excel workbook. The data set is purely inventory data, so each row should capture the product name alongside its quantity; keep the layout flexible in case I add price or supplier columns later. I’ll provide both the raw numbers and a simple template—your task is to key everything in accurately, apply basic validation (no negatives, no blanks), and return an .xlsx file that is ready for sorting, filtering, or import into our internal system.

Deliverables
• Completed Excel file with all inventory records entered
• A running total row that sums all quantities
• A short note describing any validation checks or issues found

Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of provided records present and correctly transcribed
• Consistent formatting (no merged cells, uniform data types)
• Workbook opens error-free in Excel 2019+
