Excel-Driven Power BI Dashboards

I have Excel workbooks that need to come to life inside Power BI. Your job is to take me from raw spreadsheets to a polished, refresh-ready report. That means:

• Connecting and importing each Excel file directly into Power BI Desktop through Power Query, setting up automatic refresh paths so I never have to browse for the files again.
• Transforming and cleaning the data—merging sheets, normalising column names, handling dates, and resolving any text-to-number issues—using Power Query steps I can follow and edit later.
• Building a solid data model with clear relationships and the necessary DAX measures for KPIs, trend calculations, and year-over-year insights.
• Designing an intuitive, interactive dashboard that lets stakeholders filter by key dimensions and immediately spot the story in the data. Think drill-through pages, slicers, and well-chosen visuals rather than clutter.

Acceptance criteria
– The .pbix file refreshes without errors when I click “Refresh All”.
– All transformation steps are documented in the Applied Steps pane.
– Measures are named clearly and explained in a separate notes page in the report.
– The main dashboard loads in under five seconds on a typical office laptop.
