Excel Data Entry & Template Creation

I have a set of PDFs and Word documents that contain a mix of text and numerical information. I need every piece of that content transferred into a neatly structured Excel workbook. Because no template exists yet, the very first step is to design an intuitive column layout that captures all fields logically and leaves room for any slight variations you may notice while combing through the files.

Accuracy is everything here. Typos, transposed digits, or skipped rows will cause downstream reporting problems, so each entry must match the source exactly. Once the structure is in place, populate the sheet, double-checking totals and text entries for consistency. Feel free to lean on Excel’s data validation and simple formulas if they help keep quality high; what matters most is that the finished workbook is clean, searchable, and immediately ready for analysis.

Deliverables
• A single Excel file containing every record from the supplied digital documents, organised under the template you create
• A brief note (can be a second sheet) outlining the column definitions you chose and any assumptions or edge cases encountered
