I keep a live database in a shared Excel sheet and need a detail-oriented assistant to keep it accurate and insightful. The job is centred on ongoing database updates inside this spreadsheet: entering new records, scrubbing existing rows for duplicates or formatting issues, and running light analysis—think pivot tables, basic formulas, or quick charts—so I can pull weekly snapshots without extra work.
You’ll receive each batch and any clarifications by email; once finished, you send back the file plus a brief note on what changed and any trends you spotted. Accuracy matters more than speed, but I do aim for next-day turnaround on most updates.
Deliverables
1. Updated spreadsheet with every new entry validated and cleaned
2. Short changelog outlining all cleaning steps and key findings from the analysis
If you’re comfortable living inside Excel, attentive to detail, and able to communicate clearly over email, I’m ready to get started right away.
